Last week at the New York Comic Con, Marvel announced the first leg of its tour for the new attraction, The Marvel Experience. This hyper-reality experience includes 7 huge domes, a 360 3-D completely immersive theater, and even a 4-D motion ride where you can battle Hydra as a new S.H.E.I.L.D. recruit alongside the likes of the Hulk, Iron Man and Spiderman. Basically, this sounds hyper-awesome.

Marvel Experience describes the attraction:

Your journey will take you through a 360-degree, 3-D stereoscopic projection Dome, where you’ll get closer than you’ve ever been to Marvel’s Heroes and Villains. You’ll also blast off on a state-of-the-art 4-D motion ride, where you’ll feel every twist and turn. The Marvel Experience utilizes the latest interactive technology, including augmented reality, multi-person gaming, and RFID progress tracking, so you can see yourself in action.

Conveniently for this reporter, the first stop is at the Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The show runs daily from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday December 12th through Saturday, January, 3, 2015. Tickets are $32.50 per person and currently on sale through Ticketmaster.
