The Antares ORB3 rocket exploded today just seconds after launch at NASA’s Wallop Flight Facility. The private commercial rocket was owned and launched by Orbital Sciences Corp. at 6:22 PM EDT but came crashing back down to the launchpad just after liftoff.

The unmanned rocket was carrying a Cygnus cargo ship which  included 5,000 lbs of food, science experiments and other supplies destined for the International Space Station as well as a Planetary Resources’ owned prototype satellite, designated A3.

According to NASA, no injuries have been reported at the launch site.
