Before Captain America found his footing on the big screen with Chris Evan’s wielding the iconic vibranium-steel alloy shield, he made an appearance with Chun-Li, Mega Man, and other classic Capcom characters. Marvel Vs. Capcom, anyone?

Capcom recently released this video honoring Steve Rogers’ legacy in their games because, hey, Cap is raking in that Marvel cash at the box office. Most of the stuff in the video above is from the Marvel Vs. Capcom franchise, but there’s definitely moments from Marvel Super Heroes. You just know Zangief is pissed.

Twenty years of beat-em-up patriotism! I like it.
