We’re constantly being warned by astrobiologists and scientists that interactions with an alien civilization might result in an invasion of disastrous proportions. That’s exactly what happened during Super Bowl 50. While most people were focused on a brief exclusive of Dana Scully turning into an alien, the big destruction came when aliens decided to violently attack a stadium and blow it to smithereens. I’m of course speaking of the new trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence.
The new edition will gift us with Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pulman once again but, Will Smith won’t be smoking any cigars on this screen. Instead, it’s his stepson Dylan Dubrow-Hiller and Thor’s little brother will serve as the ace fighter pilots braving their lives against this extraterrestrial threat.
