‘The X-Files’ premiere date announced

May 11, 2015 Jason McClellan

On Monday, May 11, Fox announced the premiere date for the upcoming revival of The X-Files.

Fans of this awesome 90s paranormal series have been clamoring for more episodes since the series went off the air in 2002. The wait will finally be over when January 2016 rolls around.

Fox announced that the first episode of this six-episode miniseries will make its debut in the prime slot on Sunday, January 24 immediately after the NFC championship game. Subsequent episodes will air on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m.

The truth is out there. But I doubt six episodes is enough time for agents Mulder and Scully to find it. But I won’t complain. I, like many UFO geeks, are just happy to finally have something new from this franchise.
