The UFO? UAP? WTF? Newsletter is the latest UFO-focused offering from the strange folks at Rogue Planet. This weekly newsletter will feature recent UFO-related headlines, research, upcoming events, and more.

The topic of UFOs has broad appeal, which has made it a staple in pop culture for decades. In recent years, the subject has garnered significant attention from the United States government, prompting multiple public Congressional hearings, the passing of UFO-focused legislation, and the formation of official government UFO offices. This seemingly heightened attention at the government level has shined a spotlight on UFOs, and people seem hungrier than ever for answers related to the UFO mystery. But, this apparent surge of interest in UFOs has made it more challenging to determine the importance, credibility, or veracity of claims, stories, and statements related to this topic.

“It’s increasingly challenging to sift through the endless sea of information and opinions that is the internet when endeavoring to follow the fascinating and frustrating subject of UFOs,” says Jason McClellan, who will serve as the curator and editor of the newsletter. He explains, “Media outlets all around the world cover UFO-related stories every day. And scores of people interested in UFOs post their thoughts, opinions, and positions on social media every day. The extremely passionate UFO fan or professional UFO researcher might have the luxury of combing through that information every day. But most people don’t have that luxury. The UFO? UAP? WTF? McClellan tested the feasibility of maintaining a UFO newsletter on LinkedIn during 2024 using the same name has his podcast—UFO? UAP? WTF?. However, he ultimately decided to return to a more traditional newsletter format instead to provide a more straightforward resource for people wanting to follow news related to UFOs in a format with broader accessibility.
